INTEGRIS joins Risant: the Oklahoma City market it brings

On October 21, 2026, INTEGRIS Health signed an agreement to become the third health system in Risant Health, the nonprofit Kaiser Permanente created, after Geisinger and Cone Health. The deal still needs regulatory approval. It adds a region rather than consolidating one: Risant has no hospitals in Oklahoma.

A third region, with no overlap

Risant's members sit in three states that don't touch. Geisinger has 8 licensed hospitals in our data in central and northeastern Pennsylvania. Cone Health's own locations page lists Moses Cone, Wesley Long, Annie Penn and its Behavioral Health Hospital in Greensboro and Reidsville, North Carolina, several of them under Moses Cone Hospital's Medicare license; Cone also runs Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington. INTEGRIS lists 14 hospitals on its own locations page, and Risant's announcement counts 20, 10 acute care and 10 specialty.

In Oklahoma City, INTEGRIS is already first

INTEGRIS hospitals handle 26.0% of inpatient discharges in the seven-county Oklahoma City metro, ahead of OU Health at 23.9%, SSM Health at 15.8%, Mercy at 14.0% and Norman Regional at 9.7%. Across Oklahoma it is second, with 13.2% of discharges, behind Tulsa-based Saint Francis Health System at 16.5%.

Because Risant holds nothing else in Oklahoma, the deal doesn't change these shares. What changes is the owner behind the market leader: a Kaiser Permanente affiliate built around value-based care, negotiating with the same payers and employers.

Beyond the hospitals

INTEGRIS's locations page also lists 22 urgent care sites, 19 of them under its AllSet brand. They come with the system, and they are where a value-based model meets patients first.

How we measured it

Discharges are all-payer inpatient discharges from each hospital's latest Medicare cost report. The Oklahoma City metro is Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Lincoln, Logan, McClain and Oklahoma counties. Hospital counts are licensed hospitals; systems often count campuses and specialty units separately, so their totals run higher.
