Prisma's hospitals and its first urgent care centers are in the Upstate and the Midlands, around Greenville and Columbia. Most of the former Doctors Care centers are on the coast. In the Charleston metro Prisma goes from 3 centers to 9 of 37. In Myrtle Beach (3 of 22) and Hilton Head and Bluffton (3 of 12) it had none before. The others are in Aiken and North Augusta, Rock Hill, Sumter, Orangeburg, Greenwood and Newberry.

There the hospitals belong to MUSC Health, Roper St. Francis (Bon Secours Mercy Health), HCA, McLeod, Conway Medical Center and Novant itself, which keeps East Cooper Medical Center and Hilton Head Regional Medical Center. The Doctors Care centers give Prisma its first sites in Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head and triple its count in Charleston.
